River rafting Urubamba description:

Miraflores, Lima, Surfing.

Long known for excellent surfing and beautiful beaches, Lima offers everyone the opportunity to learn or improve their surfing. We have the instructors, the equipment and the desire to teach you how to surf the always shark-free waters of Lima.

Miraflores, Lima, Paragliding.

You can actually float past the highest hotel rooms in Lima with your instructor as you kite surf the ocean updrafts. Miraflores looks over the Pacific Ocean atop plunging cliffs giving it a picturesque platform to launch hang-gliders and paragliders from. With a running start, you and your instructor will literally run off a cliff only to be caught by the wind and carried high above the shore for the most breathtaking scenic experience of a lifetime. You and scores of other colorful kites get a birds-eye view of the city and the beaches as you silently ride the wind.

Cusco, Whitewater Rafting.

Peru offers ample opportunities to whitewater raft near Cusco or further away on the Apurimac River. Chose 1, 2 or 3 days outings in Class III, IV or V rapids. Our professional guides only use the best equipment and safety practices. The rainy season is the optimal time to go rafting since the river gets higher, faster and the waves are larger. The rainy season lasts from December through April.

Cusco, Mountain Biking

A wonderful way to see more of the sites around Cusco is by mountain bike. We will start in Chinchero and make our way to Moray, a magnificent circular archaeological site 150 meters deep used in the time of the Inca for agricultural experiments. Next, we will make our way downhill to see the salt mines and the town of Maras, a typical Andean town. This is a beautiful way to see more of the Sacred Valley and snow-capped mountains north of Cusco.

Cusco, Horseback Riding.

We will go just north of the city of Cusco to Sacsayhuaman where we will start riding. With our guide, we’ll visit the magnificent Q’enko temple, Puca Pucara, and the temple of the water at Tambomachay on our horses. We can also see a panoramic view of Cusco. Return to Cusco around 13:00 hrs.

Cusco, Bungee Jumping, Poroy.

At 122 meters this is one of the highest bungee jumping platforms in South America. Poroy is a short ride north of Cusco on the way to the Sacred Valley. Safe, professional, exhilarating. The Action Valley recreation center also offers paintball, slingshot (catapult) to launch you into the air like a rocket, the tandem swing that will make you fly like Superman and the Flying Fox incredible ride down a zip line into the valley.

Cusco, Sacred Valley, Paragliding.

You will feel as if you are soaring with condors as you paraglide 3,300 meters above sea level high above the Sacred Valley. You will feel as if you can touch the snow-capped Andes across the valley as you and your instructor ride the wind over spectacular landscapes. Cusco offers you an incredible opportunity to try paragliding at a very high altitude amongst some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world.
