Day 1: 

Iquitos – Cumaceba Lodge: Navegation on the Amazon river, walk for the jungle observing the flora and fauna, Night Jungle
Transfer to the dock for boarding our speed boat and visit Belen floating village on the Itaya River. Navigation on the Amazon, watching different villages. Arrival welcome drink in Cumaceba Lodge. Room assignment in private cabins. Little jungle walks observing orchids. Typical lunch self-service. Jungle hike knowing the wildlife flora and fauna.

Sunset on the Amazon. Night jungle excursion searching insects, amphibians, tarantulas, etc. and talking about Jungle legends. Overnight in Cumaceba Lodge.


Day 2: 

Cumaceba Lodge: Bird Watching, visit Yagua community, Night Amazon, Caiman, seeking
Early morning, excursion for bird watching on Shansho Cocha. (Hoatzin lake) Breakfast. Visit the Yagua community, observing typical dresses (grass skirt) native language, lifestyle. Blowgun demonstration and the way how they hunt in times gone by handicrafts commerce or trading.

Typical lunch. Amazon journey for visiting a family conservation animal shelter as sloths, monkeys, turtles, anacondas and boa constrictors. Grey and pink river dolphins watching.

Night jungle cayman seeking.

Dinner. Overnight.


Day 3: 

Cumaceba Lodge, Monkey Island
Breakfast. Amazon trip visiting a private primate conservation project with 5 different endangered species. Family visit that produces sugar cane and processes different products with a sugar cane mill (distillery) sugar cane rum melossas. Lodge return. Typical music performance.

Overnight in Cumaceba Lodge.


Day 4 and 5: 

Cumaceba Lodge, Camping Fishing piranhas, cat fish, Night Hiking, Night bird excursion
Breakfast; and observation of the Amazon water lilies-Victoria Regia. Sportfishing trip for different species-the voracious Piranhas, catfish, sardines. Lunch self-service. Departure to amazon interior for overnight in hammocks or tents. Night jungle hiking. Night bird excursion.

Overnight. Morning hike. Breakfast.

Basic instructions of jungle survival.

Canoing row (season conditions- dry or rainy) Back to Cumaceba lodge.

Lunch. 14.30 pm. Departure to Iquitos. Transfer the hotel or airport. Back to Iquitos and to the end of your trip with Cumaceba.
