ITINERARY DETAILSDay 1: KerosBegin with the welcoming ceremony and the asking of permission of the natural forces of the Andes. Introduction by your Andean Shaman from the high mountains of the Keros Community. This day we will learn to do an offering called Despacho or “prayer bundle” (paqo) with the Shaman ritual with the coca leaves. All rituals are performed at Cusco’s sacred sites. Day 2: TiponTransport of the offering (Despacho) to the sacred site of Tipon to be burned or offered to the natural forces of the Andes. We will then go to the Cabildo or “special place” to learn how to prepare the healing pack (mesa) used in Andean life to heal many kinds of infirmities. The same day we will take the healing pack to the five sources of energy or “five fountains” to fill it with the healing energy and acknowledge the five eyes (ñawis). The five eyes are the 5 chakras the Andean people were aware of in the human body. Day 3: Sacred ValleyVisit the principal holy places in the sacred valley to put into practice our healing sessions. Stay overnight in the Sacred Valley to appreciate the wonders of this very special place. Day 4: Machu PicchuWe will take the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu in the morning. After checking in to our hotel and having lunch we will go to Machu Picchu in the afternoon when there are less people to receive the ritual of welcome. Afterwards we will go into the different temples to receive the healing power of the natural elements of the Andean life. Day 5: Machu PicchuWe will take the early bus up from Aguas Calientes to the Machu Picchu citadel to arrive in time for sunrise and our morning ritual and exploration. You can chose to do the optional climb up Wayna Picchu mountain. Return to Cusco in the evening and enjoy the a show of typical Andean music and dances.
