ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 1: Keros

Begin with the welcoming ceremony and the asking of permission of the natural forces of the Andes. Introduction by your Andean Shaman from the high mountains of the Keros Community. This day we will learn to do an offering called Despacho or “prayer bundle” (paqo) with the Shaman ritual with the coca leaves. All rituals are performed at Cusco’s sacred sites.

Day 2: Tipon

Transport of the offering (Despacho) to the sacred site of Tipon to be burned or offered to the natural forces of the Andes. We will then go to the Cabildo or “special place” to learn how to prepare the healing pack (mesa) used in Andean life to heal many kinds of infirmities. The same day we will take the healing pack to the five sources of energy or “five fountains” to fill it with the healing energy and acknowledge the five eyes (ñawis). The five eyes are the 5 chakras the Andean people were aware of in the human body.

Afterwards we will go into the different temples to receive the healing power of the natural elements of the Andean life.
