Machu Picchu exhibition to last until Sunday

Lima, Apr. 11 (ANDINA). The Machu Picchu artifact exhibition titled “Machu Picchu, after 100 years: The reunion”, which takes place at Government Palace; will last until this Sunday, April 17. The exhibition, which includes the first batch of artifacts returned by Yale University to our country, is open from 09:00 to 20:00 at Tupac Amaru Hall. The pieces have been carefully identified and recorded by archaeologists and historians in an inventory following the recommended technical procedures. Authorities have decided to extend the exhibition until April 17 as more than 57,000 Peruvians and foreigners have already visited the artifacts. The exhibition includes ceramics, skeletal remains, stones and metal objects which were used by the Incas.
