White Water Rafting The Urubamba 2 Days ( 02 Days )

Itinerary:

Day 01: Cusco Huambutio

At 9 AM you will be greetd at your hotel before departin from Cusco to Huambutio (SE of Cusco). Here our guide will give us a safety talk as well as demonstrate the use of the necessary equipment for our rafting trip. We will do Class III rapids for the remainder of the day before returning to our campsite in the afternoon. Dinner, rest, review days events and plan for next day’s trip.

Day 02: Sacred Valley Rafting- Cusco

After a delicious outdoor breakfast we will move to a higher part of the Valley to run Class IV rapids. After a nice lunch we will return to Cusco in the afternoon.

What is Included:

  • Professional English speaking guides, paramedics qualified for Class V rafting
  • Full Rafting equipment (helmet, safety jacket, raincoat, paddle, wetsuit, Hyside Self Bailer Boats

What to bring:

  • UV chap-stick

  • collapsible umbrella for rain and shade
  • waterproof day back pack for water and personal items

  • non-disposable water bottle (stainless steel)
  • water purification tablets (Micropur available in Cusco)

  • small travel binoculars
  • toilet paper for your backpack
  • pocket knife

  • small notebook and pen (notes for your blog and wildlife sketches)
