Thank you Mark for all of your guidance, planning and making our visit to Peru a total success.  Lake Titicaca was awesome, and we had an excellent lunch in Barranco (Javier).  Hector also brought us to a park of fountains in Lima.  Was a great opportunity to see local Peruvians at play on a Saturday evening.  Very few tourists.
 
I rate the trip a 10 and have not stopped talking about our tremendous experience in Peru.  We drank up the history (excellent guides and transportation), and loved the cuisine, weather, and Peruvian people.  Will be sure to send your way any friends who are considering a Peru vacation about ILE Tours

Mysterious Peru Tours

Dear Mark,

We finally have a chance to write a quick note and attach our thank you letter for you and your company.

We had an amazing experience and it was possible because of you and the amazing people you have working with you as part of your team. Thank you for everything and please do not hesitate to let us know if you are ever in Canada for a visit and or if we can help in anyway in some of the project you conduct once in a while for the benefit of the Peruvian Children.

The intent of this letter is to express our sincerest appreciation for the touristic services that ILE Tours provided for my husband Paul and I, (Aida). Coming from a North American cultural where booking tours has been reduced to the input of one’s credit card, your company’s approach to custom made packages for individuals is an amazing breath of fresh air. As part of the pre-planning for this trip, it was very comforting to be able to make contact on Skype with you for all of our one hundred and ten questions prior to our departures. With your answers and patients we were able to understand how the touristic booking system in Peru works. (Basically do not leave anywhere without your Passport…LOL!). Without the Spanish linguistic skills, we would not have been able to travel in Peru to the locations of our desire and experience what we had without you and your staff. Everything from our arrival to Lima and being picked up by Richard, to being personally meet by you in Cusco; to our tours of the Sacred Valley and our independent day in Ollantaytambo; our December 21st Winter Soles ceremony with Shaman Pumus and Rubin our tour operator guide at Machu Picchu will always be the warmest of memories in our hearts and minds. Your attention to detail was superb.

Paul and I were attracted to your company for the Mystical aspects that some of your tour packages described in the first place and we were defiantly impressed! After leaving Cusco and your ability to be flexible in assisting us in adding an extra day to Puno was extraordinary as we were able to visit Ile del Sole on the Bolivian side of the Lake Titicaca. Our stay at the Casona Plaz Hotel was most excellent. Alexsander and Luz Marima were helpful and extremely organized throughout our stay in Puno. We had time to see and meditate at the sacred Inca Puma rock and the Murray Doorway. Lake Titicaca was an ethereal experience, as for those who are in the know if it being the Sacral Chakra of the Earth.

Thank you for everything that you have done, and mostly of the kindness and willingness to share with other people about the costumes, history and traditions of Peru. We came with little knowledge of Peru and we left with an incredibly warm and loving place in our hearts four Peru. We hope to one day find ourselves visiting and exploring other parts of Peru, but until then we will insure to let our friends and family know about the magic of ILE Tours’ staff

Luxury Tour Perú Lima - Cusco Machu Picchu Inti Raymi (festival of the sun)

Hello Mark and Milagros,

Just returned home yesterday after a tough ride home on Avianca and Continental. When we arrived at the airport in Cali, we were advised that Avianca does NOT have an interline agreement with Continental thus we would need to pick up our bags and recheck in Bogota. Our trip was truly wonderful. I had a grand and terrific time. I was sorry not to get to see the dancers in the square in Cusco, but Sula really wanted to shop. Machu Picchu was incredible and every bit as exciting as I had imagined. Had we gone on the tour that afternoon, I don't know how we would have faired as Sula does not speak English! Buses leave every few minutes! As it turned out that was my only opportunity to see the dancers and enjoy the costumes and music. Ruben was awesome as a guide and well worth the extra amount we paid. We did have trouble with the tickets to enter the park. Ruben had to call the hotel manager to intervene. The delay made us miss the sunrise, but the views are so beautiful that I just tossd it up to c'est la vie!
Lima is a great city and we really enjoyed visiting. Our driver Richard and Nieves were super. We all laughed so much and had so much fun. Getting up at 2:00 AM on our departure was not fun, but we survived!!
We had a wonderful time in Cali visiting with family and friends. We went to a great restaurant outside the city and saw a show of beautiful horses, incredible training. Live music and BK and I danced! Even though we skipped Bogota, BK still gifted me a beautiful new emerald. Wow, am I lucky!
So, my email is down at home and I don't know if I will have email this weekend. It really was so swell to meet you both, you are a lovely couple and we wish you only the best with your expanding family. Thank you for your kind words, I do appreciate it!

Hi Milagros and Mark and all of your team. We are now finally back in Sydney and into the hum drum. We want to than you for such a fantastic trip, one we will certainly not forget. We call it our Grand Tour of South America although we have just hit some small few of the highlights in anticipation of a return sometime in the future to really see a little bit more. There were many highlights and it seemed that every day held something new. Probably the best things were the unexpected - like Ruben dressing up and posing with such regal splendor, the birds and the many children we saw along the way. Perhaps next time we might look at some voluntary work. In particular we enjoyed your organization and attention to detail and especially the quality of the guides (give Jonathan our best wishes). These and other things made the trip outstanding. Fortunately we have a few (about 2000) photos to share with others! Thanks again.

Excellent experience and I will be writing good things about ILE Tours on tripadvisor. Just fun people to be with, great guides, food, hotels and experience. We weren't left by ourselves to find out the best places to change money, which ATMs or what to do. We were kept busy everyday with enough downtime to relax. Milagros and Mark took us around Cusco and we felt like we were hanging out with friends.

Seamless, hassle free traveling. We saw many tourists were herded from one site to another and had to keep to a schedule. We had a private car, driver and guide and felt like the privileged class traveling in style on our own time frame. Great meals, hotels and price. I cannot say enough good things about how well we were treated. It was like visiting family and they were showing us around. Most travel agencies are like Walmart and ILE Tours is like a fine boutique travel agency.

The 4 day Inca Trail was magnificent and our 5 day cruise was awesome on the Coral II. No hassles and everything was taken care of for us from start to finish. We were even upgraded to the Vistadome train back to Cusco after the hike for no extra charge. Loved it!!

We made it home safely and we are now just exhausted and doing laundry. We had a great time in Puno and loved our guides. The trip to Sillistani was wonderful and we got great pics there and also at Uros island.

The highlights were the canopy walk in the Amazon, the wedding vow ceremony, Inti Raymi ,visiting the schools and getting to know both of you and learning more about your country. The guides were excellent and really terrific at all the sites we visited in Peru. ILE Tours handled everything meticulously. We forgot not one but two camera chargers. Our tour director found BOTH types of chargers in Cusco that night for us and brought them to our hotel the next morning. This literally saved our ability to take photos during our trip. We had personal concierge service 24 hours a day throughout our week in Peru with ILE Tours.

We made it home safely, thank you for asking. And Lima was great, a little rainy, but that didnt stop us. As for our pictures... Together we took about 1,500. So right now we are just trying to sort out the best and put captions on them before sending them out. But as soon as they are ready we would love to share them!
