Carnival in Rio

Tourist Attractions Christ the Redeemer, a symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro, was elected as one of the New 7 Wonders of the Modern World. The postcard of Rio 39 meters, was the start of construction in 1922 and was inaugurated on October 12, 1931, being the only Brazilian wonder, along with other major wonders also elected.

From the top of 38 meters and 710 meters high from the Morro do Corcovado, the Christ is the image of faith and people's sympathy and was completed in 2008, in 77 years. Since 2000, when he received new lighting, and access the monument became a process of revitalization. The highlight was the inauguration of the mechanical access by 2002, with panoramic elevators and escalators rolling. Christ the Redeemer now has 3 panoramic elevators, each with capacity for 14 people. 21/Feb, Sunday - Rio de Janeiro

Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to the Hotel. Accommodation and free day

22/Feb, Monday - Rio de Janeiro

After breakfast, leave on an excursion to top of Corcovado, where the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer reaches out its arms across the city. Afterwards we visit the Tijuca Forest the largest urban Rain Forest in the world. Return to the hotel. Free afternoon. At night we move to the Sambodromo, to admire the greatest spectacle on Earth, the parade of the Samba Schools. Return at the end of the parade.

23/Feb, Tuesday - Rio de Janeiro

Free morning. After lunch, weleave on an excursion to take a two-stage cable car ride to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain to admire the magnificent panorama of the Guanabara Bay. Afterwards make a city tour in downtown Rio to see the most beautiful monuments of old Imperial Rio, including the wonderful Mosteiro de São Bento, the Lapa Arcs and Cathedral. Return to the hotel.

Last day of Carnival Parade. For those who want join one of the Samba Schools or buy another ticket for the Grand Stand, please ask in advance.

24/Feb, Wednesday - Rio de Janeiro.

In the morning we make a boat ride through the Guanabara Bay, from where we have the best view from the astonishing landscape of Rio de Janeiro. On this tour, we visit the Cagarras Islands where we can swim. Return to the hotel, free afternoon.

25/Feb, Thursday - Rio de Janeiro - Paraty

After breakfast transfer to Paraty. Accommodation. In the afternoon, we leave on a guided walking tour through the stone paved streets of Paraty, to hear more about the history and visit the most beautiful buildings and monuments of this lovelly town.

26/Feb, Friday - Paraty

After having breakfast and relax in the hotel, we take a boat to explore some of the islands and appreciate the Atlantic Rain Forest that surround the Paraty Bay. The blue from the waters of the ocean and the green from jungle are the perfect scenario for this magnificent excursion. Return to the hotel

27/Feb, Saturday - Paraty

Ecological tour through the old path of gold miners. On this tour we explore the trail from where the old seekers used to bring the gold found at the mines of Minas Gerais state, during the 17th century. Today this trail is covered by lush Atlantic Rain Forest.

28/Feb, Sunday - Departure to your hometown

Free morning to enjoy the city or to make a tour to any of the beaches of Paraty Bay. After check out in the hotel and transfer back to Rio de Janeiro. End of our services
